About the Authors
It’s fair to say that Sandy and Peter Lok are in their Golden years. The pair make their home in Manchester, CT and have raised two children together there. They are founders of the New England Golden Jubilee, an annual premier New England event that has raised over seventy thousand dollars for canine cancer research and Golden Retriever rescue. Both are retired, Peter from a career in information technology at two large law firms and Sandy from a career with a state agency in regulatory enforcement of children’s programs. They have raised five Golden Retrievers, all as registered therapy dogs and Reading Education Assistance Dogs. Their work in schools and the public library began in 2008 with Ginger and Nutmeg and continues to this day with Andy, Grant and Tori. Sandy and Peter are avid readers and especially enjoy reading each other’s work. Having shared some of their writing on social media and in various publications, the two have received many unsolicited accolades. Sandy also enjoys photographing dogs and the two have decided to make their combined efforts available for your pleasure. Enjoy!
